Treatments are recommended every 2-3 weeks for best results. Each treatment is fully customized to your skin's needs and provides a relaxed, result-driven experience. Treatments include our signature triple cleanse and may consist of an enzyme mask or chemical peels, followed by extractions, custom masks, LED light therapy, or high-frequency treatments, finishing with customized products and lip balm.

Please note: An Acne Boot Camp consultation and treatment are required before receiving any additional treatments.

• How much will the program cost?
  The initial investment on products is $150-$200. Most of the products will last roughly 8-12 weeks depending on the product and the regimen that you are placed on.
  The cost of treatments are $99, after your first appointment.

• Do I have to use Face Reality products?
Yes. Our treatments are designed to work alongside a full Face Reality Home Care regimen, so we only provide services to clients who are consistently following it. Consistent home care is essential for managing acne while acne can’t be “cured,” it can be controlled through proper product use and lifestyle adjustments. To give your skin the best results, we require that clients under our care use only Face Reality Skincare products. Acne can be unpredictable, and using other products may interfere with your progress or cause breakouts.

• How long will each appointment take?
  The first consultation and treatment appointment is scheduled for about 1½ hours and all treatments are 45minutes to an hour long.

• What can I expect in my appointment?
  We’ll review your skin history and any past treatments, analyze your acne, and create a personalized plan based on your acne type, severity, and skin type. You’ll receive important guidance, including potential lifestyle adjustments such as diet, as well as products and cosmetics. We’ll take initial photos to track progress.

• Do I have to get treatments?
  It is in your best interest to get acne treatments from us. That is the fastest way to get clear; and also helps us to monitor your home care to get you clear in the safest and fastest way possible.

• What do the peels actually do?
  Our high quality blended corrective peels have multiple purposes including thorough exfoliation, softening of comedones, and they lighten pigmentation. They also prepare the skin for maximum absorption of our homecare products. They can help with signs of aging, as well. Our papaya powered enzyme is an excellent alternative for those who cannot receive a corrective peel.

• What if I'm on other topical prescription products?
  We ask that you discontinue prescription products 2–4 weeks before starting our program, as some medications can make the skin too sensitive for treatment. Because of this, you’ll need to decide whether to continue your current prescriptions or discontinue them for the program. Any decisions regarding prescription medications should always be made in consultation with your medical provider, as we are unable to advise on starting or stopping prescribed treatments.

• How long does it typically take to get clear?
If you are consistent with your homecare, willing to make any necessary lifestyle adjustments, and come in every 2–3 weeks for treatments, most clients see clear skin in about three to four months. Some may take a bit longer depending on their acne type and how closely they follow their personalized plan.

• Am I going to have to use these products forever?
  Everyone’s skin is different, but it’s important to continue using products to manage your acne. As long as your skin is acne-prone, acne can be a lifelong condition, and consistent care helps keep your skin clear.

• Which clients do you treat?
  We treat clients of any age once they start breaking out. A parent or guardian must accompany minors to every appointment and provide consent. Please note the minor also needs to be willing to participate in their treatment and clearing journey, as this approach gives the best results.

• What if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
  We can still treat and guide you along your clearing journey, but we strongly encourage you to speak with your medical provider to learn which ingredients they recommend you avoid.
